the Civil Court of the City of New
York, one of the busiest courts in the world.
Housing Part is generally referred to as a housing court. Over 350,000
cases a year are filed in Housing
Court. Housing Court only deals with
residential Landlord Tenant
(L&T) cases all other cases such as Commercial L&T and Ejectment
actions are handled by civil side of the court.
